Eagle Insurance Brokers in the community
The people we work with have many interests, hobbies, passions and causes that we believe are important to support. We are proud to be associated with the following local organisations.
Brunswick Heads Visitor Centre
Brunswick Heads is a small unspoilt coastal village on the NSW north coast, situated at the mouth of the Brunswick River. The town is 15 minutes north of Byron Bay and 30 minutes from the Gold Coast.
The Brunswick Heads Vistor Centre is a non-profit volunteer based organisation, run by the Brunswick Heads Chamber of Commerce Inc.
It was established in 2006 and relocated within six months to its current position in the heart of the CBD.
Ride 4 a Cure

– Raise funds and awareness of adolescent and young adult melanoma
– Support vital research
– Improve treatments
– Find a cure
– Support today’s research to find tomorrow’s cure
Port Macquarie Surfboard Riders Club
Port Macquarie Surfboard Riders Club is a non-profit sporting group aiming to promote surfing in the Hastings area in a fun, family environment. On competitions days, meet at 7.00AM on Sunday at Town Beach top car park to find out about competition location.
Hastings Cancer Trust
The Hastings Cancer Trust was established in 2005 to link the generosity of the Hastings and Macleay communities with the needs of cancer patients and their carers. We aim to achieve nationally recognised, best practice standards of cancer care and research. To date, the Hastings Cancer Trust has raised almost $300,000 through a variety of fundraising events including our annual Gala Dinner Dances, Golf Days and Fashion Parades. All money is raised by volunteers and with no administration costs, every cent raised goes to help cancer patients and their carers. Importantly, all funds raised stay in our local area!
Jim Bruce Urology & Prostate Cancer Trust
The Jim Bruce Urology & Prostate Cancer Trust has been established by the Bruce Family for the Urological Care and Treatment and in the fight against Prostate Cancer. Donations go towards ensuring that anyone requiring urological care will benefit not only from the excellent specialists and medical staff in Port Macquarie, but by value adding to the care that they provide. Our intention is to establish and grow the Trusts support with various fund-raising events and to provide feedback to the community through informative newsletters. We will keep you informed of these events as they come to fruition and trust that you will assist us by supporting this worthwhile cause.
Pirates Port Macquarie Rugby Union Club
The Port Macquarie Pirates were founded in 1974 and the first year of competition had only three teams, comprising of Port, Kempsey and Taree. Gloucester joined the following year. The under 19 competition came a long in the nineties, with the local club – now called the Pirates, winning more premierships. A surplus of players saw the birth of Port’s second club – the Viking’s, who in 2000 played their first season with all three grades.
